Current Projects

I'm currently working on a nice sized Tau Project, and I have some stuff finished that I have yet to put up in the gallery. (Sorry about that, between working and the holiday's right now my blog has taken a bit of a back seat to family and what I'm getting paid to do). Also I'm working on my own Dark Vengeance box set that I'd love to use for display as well as a little bit of game play for my youtube channel. A few Warmachine/Hordes projects going on right now as well. All of these I would like to have finished before the end of the year. Hopefully I can show you some awesome results for this as well, I'm really excited for it.

Obama Wins

Just wish to congratulate the incumbent on his victory in the polls. I hope for the best for our country.

Base of Opperations

Depending on how things go I may have a connection with a game store that will be opening in the future. If all goes well I can ideally set up there and paint in the store, for the store, and work with the store to help promote it. Its partially dependent on the election however... not going into politics though. So please hope for the best, and if things go well I'll let you know. You than can come check me out if you want, I'll definitely will be running specials through that store (including a challenge me discount).

Video Series (Work in Progress)

In the near future I do have plans to purchase a decent video camera in which I can start to record better quality video with much longer files. A few ideas that I have include the standard painting tutorials, which I did post a youtube video requesting people ask for tutorial ideas.

Now I have an idea for a couple of different types of battle reports and tie-ins. The first is a scenario based battle report series. My first video will be a home brewed battle report scenario which will introduce interesting rules to help make the gameplay more interesting (not sure which system yet, the only game I know for sure I have people to play with is warmahordes). Then people could write scenarios and submit them for us to do a battle report with. Balance isn't required as long as its fun.

The second battle report series I want to do is a help me build my army battle report. I'd start with a basic set and do a battle with it, and between that report and the next I would ask people to submit ideas for what they'd like to see me add to my army. And whatever it is would be in the next battle report, and continue until an army gets boring and you'd help me select a new one to start all over.

Finished Commision

These were recently finish Tau that I did, more on the way for this client as well including a Character Crisis Suit, 3 Broadsides and a second Barracuda. Other projects I may get to work on include a Tigershark and 2 Mantas.

Updating Special

Warmachine and Hordes starter boxes are being updated to be only $100 instead of $125 on my Jump Start Your Game Special. I'm also going to add both 2 Player Battle Boxes at a cost of $200.

Infinity

Get your infinity starter set, models assembled and painted, all for $100. That's right I extended the Jump Start Your Game Special to Infinity. The game is awesome, what game that uses d20's isn't?

Dropzone Your Game Special

This offer is available so long as I can get the models, which are presently in short supply so we'll see. However its like Jump Start Your Game, but for Dropzone Commander! Its the $250 flat fee for a starter army, assembled and painted for you, basing done where needed. But wait! It gets better, not only is it the starter army, its the one that comes with the case (if I can't get that I'll get you another unit for your army and paint that too).

 Ask about what I can find right now, and I'll let you know. If you can supply the models yourself then you're in luck, I'll paint the starter set for $150.

Current Projects

Presently commissioned for a 10 man tactical squad for a custom chapter (I love custom chapters). Also working on two tau hammerheads as well as a barracuda flyer. If those turn out well enough I will probably be commissioned to do two tau manta's as well. Pictures will be up when my current projects are finished, so before the end of this next week more than likely.

Time won't be on my side so much if I get the manta's so if you want a strong turnaround time get your commission in now, I'll still be taking commissions while working on them, but they may take more time. Remember it is first come first serve as far as priority. The Jump Start Your Game Special is still hot on the table for anyone who wishes to get on that.

Dropzone Commander

Because I've had messages of interest I just wanted to assure everyone that I am more than willing to take commissions for Dropzone Commander. I don't actually have much experience seeing the models in person so when I make quotes I do my best to lean towards the conservative side on the price and the liberal side on how long it will take me. The price won't go up, but it will most likely take me less time than I think to paint your order.

Pricing Updates

Its lower than before, I readjusted it based on thinking it over and looking into what actually went into painting what I was thinking as the most extreme cases of detail work. What it comes down to is that I can do it for cheaper and I know I can, and conversions don't add to the painting cost since that is its own price. Please look it over and remember that you won't pay more than what I quote you unless you make changes to the project. I stick to my guns to make you happy.

Air Brush Painting

My airbrush is here and  I just wanted to let everyone know this expands my ability to move through projects much faster, more efficiently and with a much higher quality for certain effects. As always bringing you better quality for the same great value. I can't wait to do some projects with this backing me.

Chaos Space Maries Dripping with Awesome

I do have to say looking over all of what I've seen for the new Chaos Space Marines what has me the most impressed is the kit for the Forgefiend/Maulerfiend. It is what stands out the most to me mostly because I could see this easily being a backbone to the army that is highly customizable and convertible. Depending on the aspect and theme of your Chaos Space Marine army it can be made to be more representative of a specific God of Chaos or chapter. I can also easily see it being converted for allied appearances, like flattening out some of the armor and adding a further sense of mechanaclism to make it look like a Tau allied model. I think the Forgefiend/Maulerfiend is probably my favorite of the new sculpts and I would love to get my hands on one for painting... hint hint, commission one ;)

Custom Chapters

One thing I know people love to do with Space Marines is make their own custom chapters. Its a really awesome part of playing a Space Marine army, almost endless options for themes and philosophies.

Dark Vengeance

Alrighty, I just got my box and I have to say it just looks amazing. I can't wait to paint and assemble them. Look forwards to some videos featuring them, including a future bat rep.
