How to get a quote

To get a quote let me know what you want to commission and how much of the work you need me to do. I can acquire the models for you, assemble them, convert them, paint them and base them for you. The quote will be determined by the number of models you're getting, what models you're getting and how much work you are having me do for you.

The main part of the process I handle is painting, after all this is a painting service. The remaining you are free to do yourself and will not be charged for it.

You can mail me the models you want painted, if I acquire them you will pay for the models at cost. I'm not a dealer I'm just picking them up for you.

If you assemble the models and mail them to me I won't charge you for assembly.

Painting and simple base work are included together in pricing.

If you would like more advanced basing this will be included in the conversion budget along with simple to major conversions to your models. Magnetization is also included in the conversion budget, however I will magnetize certain models for safer shipping purposes and in that case they are included in the assembly cost.

The quote itself is usually a liberal estimate and the final price will not exceed the quote unless there are additions or changed made by the customer.

If you are just curious about my service, are considering commissioning something, or are just looking at starting an army or getting into any sort of war gaming feel free to e-mail me. I'll be happy to respond to your e-mails and discuss options and armies with you.

What you are getting

The painting offered is called tabletop quality or better, a cheap but good looking army or miniature for you to play with.

Tabletop quality is figures that look good on the tabletop, but generally don't hold up to up close scrutiny. What I'm painting is intended to look good while playing and are not display models.

The "or better" refers to the quality of individual characters or models that tend to stand out more and require more work. These will have far more attention to detail on them and will look better than a standard table top quality model.

The assembly and painting are all inspected before photos are taken, and then submitted for the client's approval before final payments and shipping happens.

Deposit and Payment

Before I begin any work or place any orders for models there needs to be a deposit of at least 30% of the quote. After payment clears the work process will begin and you will be well on your way to getting your models.

Once the commission is completed and the client approves the final product the final bill will be sent and in the hands of the client to pay (minus the deposit of course). Once payment is received the final product will be shipped, but not before.

Shipping

Shipping is the only thing not included in the quote and will be handled on the final bill.

Products will be packaged with the most efficient way I can to protect their finish and keep them from being damaged, however I can't guarantee or take responsibility for the care of the package after it leaves my possession.

For the best protection I recommend having me acquire battlefoam or another similar product for storing your models in. Just like the models themselves this material will be at cost, but it will far better protect what you commissioned and is great for storage once you receive them.

Refunds

Once the final product is shipped there are no refunds.

Before completion, but after work has started, if you change your mind I do offer partial refunds.
If you sent me your models I will refund you the cost of the models based on the price I would pay for them.
If you had me buy the models for you I will refund you all but the cost of the models.

The only time a full refund is offered is when I am unable to complete a project for you. If I am having troubles on my end I will never expect the client to have to take on the burden.

Terms of Services

There is a steady work process used to finish projects in a timely fashion, however I am currently one person. I'll work many extra hours to get a project done, however time of competition will vary depending on how much was commissioned, how many other projects I have before yours, and how much work needs to be done for each piece. Patience is appreciated; however I will work hard to get it done in a timely fashion.

I withhold the right to refuse a commission, however it is unlikely that will happen, however I may need to delay accepting commissions depending on current workload. I may offer alternative services if I can't take your commission.

When you place your deposit you agree to begin the commission process.

Models you ship to me and I begin work on can not be returned. Models I haven't worked on are returnable if the situation arises.

With every commission comes a degree of artistic license. I will do my best to fulfill your specifications; however the less information you give me to work with the less likely it will look like what you imagine. Also my goal is to make your army look good on the battlefield and some decisions may be made for artistic purposes. If there are major changes in direction they will not be made without approval from the client.

All commissions are subject to being used for my portfolio to display the work.

If there is any special and a client place an order that qualifies for it the order will be quoted at the special price. The special does not have to ask for it to receive it. (Qualifying orders only)

Any army, upon request of my part or the clients as long as both parties agree may be demonstrated in a battle report that will be posted online either in text or video format. An agreement does not guarantee a battle report will be posted.

There is no fee to discuss army building with me, seeking recommendations, or advice. I'm happy to discuss these games with anyone. I love them and play them myself.
